Part 107 Flight Check

Part 107 Flight Check is the study app I wanted to exist when I was prepping for the FAA Remote Pilot Certificate — focused, offline-first, and respectful of your time and your privacy.

Why this app

The Part 107 exam covers a lot of ground: 14 CFR Part 107, airspace classifications, METAR decoding, weather theory, sectional charts, loading and performance, radio procedures, and crew resource management. Most of the free question banks out there are either dated, cluttered with ads and upsells, or riddled with wrong answers. Part 107 Flight Check is original content, referenced against public-domain FAA sources — 14 CFR Part 107, the Remote Pilot ACS (FAA-S-ACS-10A), and the Remote Pilot sUAS Study Guide (FAA-G-8082-22).

How it works

Pick a study mode from the home screen — full mock exam, category drill, or review queue. Each question shows you the correct answer and a plain-English explanation as soon as you commit. The app quietly tracks your per-question accuracy and uses it to schedule reviews, so the questions you’re weakest on come back around faster. A readiness estimate on the home screen turns the raw stats into a single number so you can tell at a glance whether you’re on track.

Privacy-first by design

No account. No telemetry. No crash reports. No analytics SDKs. Your study history lives in SwiftData on your device and never leaves unless you enable iCloud backup for the app yourself. The only network calls in the app are the Apple StoreKit handshake for the one-time Remove Ads purchase and Amazon product links in the optional “Recommended Gear” section.
