Terms of Service — Part 107 Flight Check

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Part 107 Flight Check (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

License

The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Jason Chalky grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial study purposes on devices you own or control.

Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including practice questions, explanations, study guide text, diagrams, artwork, and code — is the original work of Jason Chalky and is protected by copyright law. Public-domain federal sources (14 CFR Part 107, FAA-S-ACS-10A, FAA-G-8082-22) are cited where referenced but remain in the public domain.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App’s content without prior written permission.

In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time “Remove Ads” purchase processed by Apple via StoreKit. All in-app purchases are final and handled by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not issue refunds directly.

Study Aid — Not a Guarantee

Part 107 Flight Check is a study aid, not an official FAA training product. Passing the App’s mock exams does not guarantee passing the real FAA Part 107 knowledge test, and does not confer any certification or authorization to operate a small unmanned aircraft system for commercial purposes. You are solely responsible for meeting all FAA eligibility and testing requirements.

FAA Non-Affiliation

Part 107 Flight Check is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration or the United States government. Any references to FAA documents, test standards, or regulations are for educational purposes only.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s content, code, or systems
Use automated tools to extract question content or other App data
Misrepresent App content as official FAA materials

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Drone operation involves inherent risks. You are solely responsible for operating any unmanned aircraft safely and in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, local laws, and airspace restrictions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jason Chalky shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App, including but not limited to exam failures, loss of data, or any damages related to drone operation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
