PROJECT OVERVIEW

Vibing in the Valley is a cozy farming simulation for iPhone, designed to be enjoyed in short bursts with one hand on the bus, the couch, or a five-minute work break. Plant a parsnip, water it tomorrow, and watch the seasons roll by while the villagers learn your name.

Why this app

Most mobile farming games push you toward energy meters, gacha shops, and cross-promotional ads. Vibing in the Valley goes the other way. It’s a paid-once (or will be), single-player game with no timers pressuring you back, no tracking, and no data collection of any kind. It’s the little pocket-size escape I wanted to make for people who love Stardew Valley but want something they can actually pick up on their phone during a spare minute.

How it works

Start on Spring Day 1 with 500 gold and a hoe. Till the soil, plant seeds, water your crops, and harvest when they’re ready. Visit the town to meet the eight villagers and bring them gifts they love. Level up farming, foraging, and more skills — each with profession specializations at level 5 and 10. All progress auto-saves at the end of each in-game day and syncs privately across your devices via iCloud.

Privacy-first by design

No account creation. No analytics. No advertising. No telemetry of any kind. All game data lives on-device via Swift structures with optional iCloud sync using Apple’s end-to-end encryption. If you choose to enable AI-powered NPC dialogue, you bring your own Anthropic API key and all requests go directly from your device to Anthropic — the developer never sees any of it.
