Terms of Service — Turtle Tide

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Turtle Tide (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service.

License

The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Jason Chalky grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including level designs, turtle artwork, music, sound effects, and code — is the property of Jason Chalky and is protected by copyright law. All visual and audio assets are generated programmatically at runtime.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Modify or create derivative works based on the App
Use the App for any commercial purpose without written consent
Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage in leaderboards
Share or resell in-app purchase items

In-App Purchases

The App offers in-app purchases for cosmetic items, currency packs, and optional content (World 4 and World 5). All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Consumable currency (Pearls, Coral) does not expire and is not transferable between accounts. The App does not contain advertising.

Game Center

Use of Game Center features is subject to Apple’s terms. You agree not to submit falsified scores or otherwise manipulate leaderboards. Leaderboard violations may result in loss of access to Game Center features.

Daily Challenge Fairness

Daily challenges are deterministically generated from the current date, so every player receives the identical puzzle. Score tampering, time-zone abuse, or other manipulation of daily results is prohibited.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Jason Chalky makes no warranties regarding the App’s availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jason Chalky shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
